Leon, I think someone should send the seller another inquiry worded something like this......... Sir, we have been reading your responses to other inquiries on a major numismatic forum, and we find them quite entertaining. Thank you!
Rather ironic in a way. My ( NAS) says Luke 12:2 "But there is nothing covered up that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known". I think we are trying to fulfill that prophecy regarding his/her coins. Not trying to start a religious war, your book may vary.
I would send another email, but I was told by her to not send anymore,so I have to respect her wishes.and ebays rules.
I realize that. That's why I suggested that someone else send it. Now, I think I'll wait to see if rockdude gets a response, and maybe I'll send an inquiry. Chris :eating:
Just a few quick observations... 1. I can't believe the sheer audacity of some of the sellers on ebay...it's simply mind boggling. 2. You guys and gals here REALLY know your respective area's of expertise. 3. Thanks for the laughs today...I really needed them, and they are much appreciated!
I sent her a friendly message making her aware that she might want to educate herself on coins before she continues to list such nonsense. And that she is being misleading to boot. I can't wait to see the response I get.
If you do get a reply, please post it, verbatim, so that we can let the seller know how much we have enjoyed reading the comments. Chris
i would message her but, i have a short fuse with the religious stuff. and america the story of us is on, i don't want her to ruin my night.
This seller is an ignorant shyster but doesn't even know it. Or won't admit it! Sometimes a little information is just enough to set these shysters off and they will run a long, long way. Unfortunately since they really believe that they have the talent and knowledge and incredibly good fortune (blessings) to find all this stuff, any negative comments simply fortifies the belief that they have something special and you just want to steal it from them! What a load of poo-poo. I need to rephase this to avoid appearing judgemental. This seller is greatly confused over the items she/he sells. They do not appear to be error's as much as environmentally abused coins.
Here's another guy to look at. http://cgi.ebay.com/RARE-1940-U-S-C...em&pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item3cadc6845f
and he is getting + feedback. A die Trial? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260605510659 Feedback: as described. There isn't one accurately described piece.
