1974 D ROOSEVELT DIME STRUCK ON PENNY PLANCHET RARE [eBay auction link] I think not! :computer: And all this seller lists are damaged and heavily circulated pocket change with various "errors" assigned!
He's getting the prices for his garbage as well. I've got thousands of dug coins that look like the stuff he's selling.
But for a mere $1,800 you can get a ultra rare triple struck Lincoln cent glue job coin http://cgi.ebay.com/TRIPLE-STRUCK-L...em&pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item3cada40d3d
FLAG this item. Search for the word FLAG on the auction site, then FRADULENT LISTING, then YOU SUSPECT THE ITEM LISTED IS FRAUDULENT. This is only going to work if everyone chips in. Go to one of the coins and flag it. I just flagged this 1800 glue job.
Oddly, I found the 1974D dime listing after logging out of eBay. I wasn't even searching for errors, dimes or cents previously. When you log out of the site they have randomly selected auctions that pop up triggered by your interests and past searches. I wish they could somehow monitor what the random selection is promoting on their site and potentially putting customers in risk of scam sellers should a buyer be unaware. Although, that's likely asking a bit too much of eBays attention and they rely on other members to flag auctions.
I sent a friendly email to the seller of the $1800 glued lincoln cent asking if they thought it was real and that i thought it was from glue, because the impression was backwards, which can't happen at the mint like that. here's the response i got. MY GOSH THAT IS GREAT. HAVE A BLESSED DAY.HOPE THINGS IMPROVE SOON.DO YOU DO ANYTHING WITH CHRYSTAL BALLS.THANX ANN.
I feel that anyone who uses religion, race, sexual preference, national origin, or h***, even politics to make a sell should be banned from public advertising. But you all have a blessed day and my angel not only flies, but is strapped. IMO. p.s. Love that "sintered" coin.
Most sellers are extremely defensive of their listings, phoney or not. Of course, some sellers just don't know any better and think they actually have a "rare" error coin...
Its the Ignorant leading the un-educated their completed.... http://completed.shop.ebay.com/myan...e=1&_fln=1&_ipg=&_trksid=p3911.c0.m283&_rdc=1
Sent one also, I'll let you know what the responce is if there is one to the comment; Did you know that glue will make that coin look like that. Use a little acetone and your 1800 dollar coin will turn into a 1 cent one. I bet you won't try it though.
here is the response I got all you believe hidden shout it from the roof tops.for it shall be revealed.you are a deeply troubled individual.we know there are two horns attached to the jacks.my angels trump your horn.email me again and i will have you arrest, for assault.and harassment.
