They both check out on the PCGS Certs: http://www.pcgs.com/Cert/06463322.html http://www.pcgs.com/Cert/14545892.html
Thanks all, it took a long time, lots of buying, swapping and selling to get those two. I know 1 thing.....I'm tired of TV dinners and water............:kewl:
China Syndrome? I've heard they are making fake slabs for their fake coins. Always nice to be sure before going taking the bait on a coin that is slabbed thinking it is real. The numbers on the slab match you to the description on their site for PCGS. Just wanted to point this out.
I look at Craigslist garage sales in my area and ask if they have any coins or pocket change they'd like to sell. Doesn't hurt to ask
I paid him 10.5 x face for all his pre-1964 stuff , I figure with the condition of some of the dollars , halves & quarters I might be able to keep some and sell the rest for what I paid. Free is good ! There were only 36 Washington Quarters in poor enough condition to not earn their own 2x2. All the rest earned their 2x2 or 2.5x2.5.
I know very little about these coins, but I thought this one was so pretty that that didn't bother me too much NGC MS66
Awesome Illini! I love the design and the history of that coin. That's one of the nicest ones I've ever seen.
