possible error coin????

    hello guys im new here and i have been trying to find info on this coin but cannot find anything. i will have pictures up in a day. the coin is a penny from 1999 it has the face on Lincoln on the front and the house on the back like any other penny but on the back where the house is theres another house horizontal from it and on the front where Lincolns face is at the house is also printed over it. have you guys seen anything like that?? any info will be very much appreciated and i will post pictures up within 24hrs

    FYI
    The "front" side of a coin is called the obverse, and the "back" side of a coin is called the reverse. The "house", as you call it, on the reverse of the Lincoln cent is the Lincoln Memorial. All Lincoln cents, 1959-2009, have the Memorial on the reverse.

    Just thought you'd like to know!

    thank you for the info now i know what to call it lol. so i started collecting coins about 6 years ago it all started with the wheat pennies but i also have this other coin i would like to know what it is that i will post a picture of also.im sorry if the pictures arent good let me know if you guys want better pics thanks the penny is actual a 1990 not 1999 sorry

    It looks like someone has taken two Lincoln cents and hammered the imprint of one on the other. Note that the lettering is backwards.

    The coin on the bottom is a Mercury dime.

    Actually it's a Winged Liberty Head dime. It looks to be post mint damage.

    Try to get a closer, sharper picture of the mercury dime. It looks like its been through a lot...but exactly what, I can't tell!

    yea try getting a closer picture of the mercury, so we can see the date and MM. those are one of my favorite coins, i found them beautiful for some reason.
