http://www.numismedia.com/fmv/fmv.shtml works but so do auction sites like ebay, Heritage and Teletrade..these sites work well since they tell you what prices these coins are going for. Often times these are better than sites like Numismedia. -Shrek
Only problem with that is that it doesn't show prices with all grades. I didn't read the whole thing, but I assume they said somewhere that it was prices for lower grades? Yep! Making me laugh over here. You are implying that eBay's completed listings are not as credible as Teletrade's or Heritage's? Majority of the time, eBay is SPOT ON with the current going price, as many many collectors buy on eBay, Heritage can be a little shaky but is a good reference tool. One day a coin could go for $500 while another day it goes for $420, it just depends on the day, and what other coins are in that catalog. Teletrade, once again a more credible site than eBay, like Heritage, but prices can be the same way. eBay can and should be used to determine how much to pay for an item
I agree, I use all three in determining my bids, including ebay. I have bid and purchased coins from all three sites for my collections.
