    Finally something to post:

Had some time today to go out searching for halves. I picked up 270$ in rolls and 48.50 in loose. I have not yet had a chance to go through the loose, but a quick check looks like there is nothing there.

    The rolls' results:

    20 40%
    11 '64 (90%)
    4 Frankies (52, 58D, 62, 63D)
    1 Walker (34)

    A good day :D

Quick question for those of you who take good pictures of coins. What kind of camera do you use and how much do they cost?

The name on the box is DIGI-MICROSCOPE and the model number is BW-908.. that's all I know.. there was hundreds of them to choose from and mine was one of the cheapest since it was new to me I didn't want to invest alot at first. But I will say this.. their software that comes with it is not Microsoft certified.. it works but sometimes it freezes up alot so I quit using it and just use the Windows software.

    Good Luck.

I was having trouble finding those new ones too. I went to the bank to get some rolls of cents to search, and said, awww, what the heck, I'll just get two boxes (100 rolls) to keep me busy awhile.

Well, I get home and look through the peepholes in the boxes, and it turns out that BOTH boxes were ALL mint wrapped 2010's!

I think I'll keep a box of them, or maybe both. Someday, they may be worth something---

went threw 3 boxes of halves with my girlfriend and didn't find much at all, I am a little disappointed. We found a 1968 D, 1977 S, and a 2004 P. Needed the 2004 P for our album so I guess that is good.

found a 51d penny today, perfect as hell, looks to be UNC with just a couple scratches, like someone had it for years in a plastic case, needed the money and spent it. thats how clean this baby is!

Done with 3 of my 4 boxes of halves. Found 8 40%ers so far. Also $10 each worth of 2008's and 2007's in Unc condition.

Completed the $25 of pennies and $20 of nickels I started a few days ago.
the nickels were a pretty sorry lot. One beat up '49D (nothing else before '60)
The pennies were OK. As I mentioned before, I found the 1883 IHC; also 10 wheats (all 40s and 50s), and two Canadians. Not anything special, other than the IHC which more than made up for the otherwise mediocre results.

Got a '64 half dollar from my boss as a little present, as well as 4 wheats, 3 canadians, and a good amount of copper out of $5 in pennies. Not to mention the dime with a die break I found out of rolls I got for my work.
