    eBay finds in rolls

Here's three 1909's I found in three different rolls out of five I got in the mail this morning from eBay.

The first one has doubling on the date and on the RTY in Liberty not to mention it's unique toning, I thought it looks pretty sweet.

I'll post the rest as a list in another post. These five rolls were Stellar.

Only one went in the common jar and about 6 Steelies were no good.

    The Rest were all keepers.

Regarding that last photo you posted with the lamination effect , if you turn it sideways it looks just like the chevron for a U.S. Army Corporal.

I couldn't get your link to U.S. Army to open but below it there looks like a G too. I do know what the Chevron looks like and you're right.

    Shutout

Okay, I recieved my 2nd box today of Halves. I got skunked for Silver. But I did find 6 Kennedy's that were lower mint. Anything '02 and newer I've been keeping. The bank did say they had some halves in bags so I'm going to go back there later this week and get those too, but I'm thinking those have already been searched over. I guess I'll give it a go.

Have you examined the reverse of that 1936-D Buffalo Nickel for a variety of varieties ?

I have not but I do have a dino-lite... so... if you were to enlighten me as to where I might find some hopefully web based info on it that would be awesome! I have about 50~ buffalo's that I have not searched for varieties.
    Thanks!

I was going to suggest the most recent Cherrypicker's Guide Volume 1 ( which I just bought ) , but you can also get some variety & error information online from CONECA

    http://conecaonline.org/variety_listings.html

    and at Brian’s Variety Coins

    http://www.briansvarietycoins.com/

Hope these help & may all your 1936-D's be three legs !

Searched about 20 rolls of nickels tonight. Found one War, two pre-1981 Canadians, 15 pre-1960 - including a 1956 in AU and a pretty cool 1980 "Belige 1F" coin from Belgium. I love finding foreign currency when I roll search...you never know what you're going to get and where it came from.

Anyone else out there keeping all pre-1960 nickels? There is really no premium on them, but I feel compelled to keep any coin over 50 years old for some reason..

here are a few coins i found in rolls. the 57 aint really special but i never found a wheat that wasn't brown. this one still has the red shine!! the picture aint great it makes it look dull and dirty. the coin does have a few scratches and a little dirt, but not bad. the ihc was found in a jar of cents from my girls mom. it is toned greenish blue, but my camera had a hard time capturing that. the coin is also a nice chocolate brown when no light is on it.
