    Pictures are best , but at least a compete description as to how much wear it has or a given grade . Without your guess is as good as anyones . Also there are three varieties of 1830 1/2 dime prices range fromabout $30 in G-4 TO $1000 and up in UNC.

    Sorry guys, can't upload pics. No good camra for pics. But it's called a liberty cap. And, my friend that is good at grading coins says it's F-15.

    According to the Red Book, F12 is $60, VF20 is $90.

    Okay, thanks Joe. Just wanted to know how much my coin dealer might give me. Maybe $35-40

    The most common name for your coin is Bust 1/2 dime , also maybe you could sell it for more here in the open section . Just an idea .

    Yeah, you get about $35. But if you post a picture here and sell it here and it really is a F-15, you might realize $60-$70 for it.
