Colonial - 1775 George III Halfpenny - Input - Thoughts?

    My take on this specimen is that it is a slight weak strike, as the obverse and reverse devices are not as sharp as the mottos. There is some wear to the specimen obviously, however, I believe that the wear is not necessarily consistent with a piece that has such mottos intact.

    That said, thoughts and input would be appreciated pursuant to the following:

    1. Do you concur with this assessment?
    2. Given the condition of the specimen, do you agree or disagree that $110 USD is a fair value?
    3. Reverse verdigris congruent with ground find?

    I'm no expert, but I'd guess that's a contemporary counterfeit.

    Thanks DCH. However, I'm rather confident that indeed this is a Regal strike. It appears to me to be a S.3774 specimen.
