    Hello,

Can anyone tell me if this is a proof? I certainly hope it is! It's a little tarnished but in has pretty deep fields in person, especially on the reverse.

Scratch that question. I checked my dads record of when he bought these, and he noted it is an uncirculated, not a proof.

This coin minted in proof (5000 specimens), and it"s value about 800$ for each coin.
But this coin minted in usual condition too (495000 specimens), and it"s value about 50 - 95 - 175$ (VF - XF - UNC).
I think that your coin is usual and it"s value about 100$ (XF).
    Best wishes!:)

Yeah I agree its usual. However it is defiitetly unc. It was ordered directly from Germany in 1964 and put into a book. It was in the book for 46 years until yesterday when I moved it into a flip.
