    Ive found a few amazing looking 1959s. They dont come along too often though in my roll searching. It's always nice to find a coin thats over 50 years old that looks that good

    Imagine or try to imagine where a coin could possibly be sitting since 1959 without being bounced around. Over 50 years and not worn.

    Makes ya wonder don't it. I got a 64 that looks like it was minted today. People must be digging deep into their piggy banks...

    I think all these coins came from the same piggy bank that produced my thirtyone 1961 D cents a few weeks ago!

    Wait... I just read your post...your '59 d has a wheat cent reverse??? Please post a pic!!! (probably fake, but you never know. There is only one known of that variety, and it is STILL under debate.)

    No. Because there's a 99.9999999999999999% it's a counterfeit.

    Even if it is fake, it is still pretty cool.

    You can still get the Denver models in original rolls for pretty cheap too. I love picking those rolls up because with over 130 known RPM varieties it makes for some happy hunting usually!

    This reminds me of the scene in The Holy Grail by Monty Python:

    King Arthur: Go and tell your master that we have been charged by God with a sacred quest. If he will give us food and shelter for the night, he can join us in our quest for the Holy Grail.
    French Soldier: Well, I'll ask him, but I don't think he will be very keen. Uh, he's already got one, you see.
    King Arthur: What?
    Sir Galahad: He said they've already got one!
    King Arthur: Are you sure he's got one?
    French Soldier: Oh yes, it's very nice!

    Call me jaded, but I doubt our first-time poster has the holy grail! :D

    Ok I'll be back with a pic, I am not sure what you are talking about when it comes to "RPM" and what is a "reverse" I found this coin in the bottom of a purse that I had stored away for 10 years , the person that gave me the penny had it in a protective cardboard?? along with another coin 1941 dime??

    RPM=Repunched Mintmark.

    Reverse=Back of a coin.

    The "protective cardboard"=Commonly known to collectors as 2 by 2s for their 2 inch by 2 inch shape.

    1941 dime=commonly known to collectors as the Mercury Dime or Winged Liberty Dime.
