Woody?

I didn't even know about these before reading this forum, but I'm going over some loose old lincolns and came across this. Is it a woody or just crusty from environmental damage?

Doesnt look like one to me, Looks like it had some corosion or bad cleaning at one time.

It appears to be old corrosion/porosity.

I would guess the second is a woody, but it is also corroded.

 

I agree with RLM... The second coin looks like a corroded woody.
