I went out to grab a bite to eat and passed a yard sale on the way. It was the usual stuff but when I asked if they had any coins, I was handed a Crown Royal Whiskey bag that had a handful of coins in it. It was a dollar so I took it. There was a bunch of foreign (older), some common tokens, about 35 pretty worn wheats from the teens to the mid thirties, a couple of rubber toy coins, a 1968 Canadian fifty cent piece (nickel) and a worn silver 1949 Canadian quarter. Not bad for a buck!
Helas.... It is very sad to say that I'm hanging out with a bunch of coin geeks. I WANT the Crown Royal Whiskey bag
I used to play with a bunch of plastic/rubber money back when I was a kid. I have no idea where they came from.
