i wish i could buy the bucannon liberty at this price ... i think most of the non-liberty versions of this series are verging on ugly : (

i have to admit i do own 1 louisa adams and 1 sarah polk ... the were not quite as ugly as the others.

i own 11 van buren liberty and 2 jackson liberty coins ... most of the van buren liberty coins i bought in the $600's (a bullion price) from a local coin dealer

basically i am thinking of them as bullion coins that might at some point gain some numismatic value (who knows??)

these prices will probably suppress sales/mintages. Some collectors are getting discouraged.

 

gold touch the all time record high today at $1,245.70/oz. if gold stay above $1,250.00 to $1,299.99 an ounce. then first spouses gold could jump two brackets or $50.00. you only up to this noon to order first spouses at the old price:

unc - $741.00 to $766.00 and then possibly up to $791.00.
