MBT... there's an old saying that originated from a high ranking in our military back in day that goes something like this... "don't let perfection get in the way of good e'nuff".... I recommend you consider this.

It might be noted that the 1-70 Grading Scale was introduced by Dr. William H. Sheldon in the book "Early American Cents" was reissued with revisions as "Penny Whimsy".

    Penny for your thoughts.

I was wondering if they ever made "Cent" loafers ? What other coin could you use ? I mean a Quarter or larger is too big and nobody ever heard of Dime loafers ?

How much longer until Sept. 9 ?

By "product", I meant coinage not printed inaccurate propaganda.

Show me an US mint made coin with a denomination of "penny" and I'll eat it. It's a British term, oft pence in plural.

Old English versions of the word penny are penig, pening, penning and pending; the word appears in German as Pfennig, in Dutch as penning, and in West Frisian as peinje or penje.

It's also been a US term for over 200 years. Don't think it will ever change.
I actually see no need for it to change and would bet almost 100% of folks could care less what they are called.

BTW I'm developing a passion for these flying eagle cents.
