It's nicer [and older] than mine. I hesitated to post mine because in comparison to yours, as well as others, mine's rather raggedy:

I've been wanting to get a colonial for some time now. Still waiting for one to come around that I really like but also in my price range (which is the killer cause I like most of them lol)

Cheetah I have about 1 dozen or 2 but all but the two here are in the SDB. Many are ragged too. Just think about how old these are and then that they are paper. It's just so neat to realize that these were in the hands of our founding fathers well before WW2, WW1 and even the Civil War...times were much different and they held these and spent these to buy eggs and flour too :D

Re- New England Commercial Bank $50 Remainder

That design dates from the mid 1820s to the 1830s. The note was engraved in the Perkins plate style to help deter counterfeiting. The New England Commercial Bank operated from 1818-1914.

    Thanks guys!

I sent the 1775 note to PMG back in March and it came back AU(50) -- higher than I was thinking ... There was a PMG note on the back of "Paper Pulls" ... The seller of the note told me that the pulls were from old Glassine Stamp Hinges that someone used on it to mount it in an album.

I bought it for $184.31 on ebay back in January ... a price I was very pleased with considering the historical significance. It's amazing that it was printed and signed 1 year before the Declaration of Independence.
