Hi all, I won what I thought was a good deal a 1970S small date cent. I only paid 2.76, Thinking this was a good deal as only was one bid and was me.Well got coin and after looking at it very close the 0 on top was alter to look like it was even with the 197, after I email seller he said was a small date coin and told me that I needed glasses, LOL which I wear anyways., Well to make this short, like saying goes if it look good and price is cheap then can't be.Here is Item NO. to auction if anyone cares to look. Item number:260591371630 , Also I learn to check feedback before I bid again on ebay as he done this to other buyers on same coin as in 1970S small date.:desk: (Always check sellers feedback before bidding) I did get back my 2.76 plus told seller if he wants coin back send me a SAE to send coin back. I don't understand... Regardless of what the title of the auction says, the photo of the specimen to me looks like a Large Date, Low 7... I always look at auction titles with a bit of skepticism until I look at the photo of the specimen. (and even then, of course, it's not foolproof)
Looking over this sellers other current items, nothing but colored junk. The other (2nd) negative where the buyer claims it's not a small date, but I think it is. The one you bought is not. Take a straight edge and lay it across the top of the date on the monitor, you'll see that the 7 isslightly lower than the other numbers. Happy Collecting.
