2 new morgans

    Here is some pictures of the two Morgan dollars I picked up at the West covina coin clubs coin-o-rama...I wish I could get the toning on the 1881 to show in the pics better...really kindof a cool purple...enjoy

    thanks...unfortunately fairly soon I will run out of common dates and may have to actually save up to add coins to my morgan set:crying:

    Not really. Just free your mind from the rather arbitrary concept that you need to collect by date and mintmark, and concentrate on the search for beautiful coins in your price range. What does it really matter if you have two, or ten, of the same date/mintmark as long as they are all superior coins?

    I agree !!!!

    1896-P has been a Morgan that if it tones 90% of them are real beauty's!

    I do this a lot but if you keep following this you end up with tons of 81S and 82S in Morgans or 64's in 2 cent pieces ect...

    you are right ..a good deal is a good deal. and I don't mind doubles or triples of coins, but I do like the idea of owning a complete set of morgans.
