I have have one of these coins in Unc graded by NGC in my collection. I would say, since the weight can be off from what the Krause book might say..... I'll guess 9.56 grams.......Just think that back then you can buy two sheep's with that coin. That is one very interesting bid of historical info. I wonder how many I can get with mine now :eat:....LOL. Thanks Mr Palmason for a very interesting post.
