Just trying to learn a little more about Coin Collecting and the Coins that are out there.. I have 51 Kennedy 1964 Half Dollars. My question is............How many do you have. Pure research

I have maybe 7 total. A couple of mine are the 1964 proof! Kennedy was well loved by almost all of America and beyond. I'm sure alot of ppl have a few Kennedy halves and even more. :thumb:

 

think like 4 tubes so about 80 might only be 3. Inherited from great grandparents

I have only one 1964P Kennedy half but it has huge sentimental value to me. My mom (a big JFK fan) waited in line at the bank when they were first released in 1964. She gave it to me during the silver craze sometime in late 70's/early 80's. I also have a 1964 proof set with a Kennedy half "accented hair" variety in it. TC

 

1964 alone, I have only one in my collection. I have 44 different date/mint mark combination Kennedys in my collection, plus the 2009 Proof. Not much compared to some of you, but I just can't get them around here!

 

I have none of yours in my collection.

 

I have Proof Kennedys 1964, 1968-2010, and SMS proof like Kennedys 1965-1967.

I also have a stack of raw clads 1965-1970.

More than I had in 1963, and perhaps fewer than I will have in 2013. Beyond that, I choose not to give the lurking ripoff artists any information about my holdings.

Pardon me if I can't conceive of a good cause for such "research".

For the paranoid people. The intent is to try to establish a formula to see how many are still available. No one is going to rob you for your 1964 Kennedys. LOL I'm a retired Mechanical Engineer and I have a buddy who was A College Math Professor. We are collecting info from eBay and elsewhere in hopes of being able to estimate remaining coins available. Hopefully, It might work for all Silver Coins. Sorry my post bothered some of you.
