What happened with me, was I waited until eBay notified the case was resolved. Then I tried to list it for international sales and had so much trouble I gave up. Still got it. LOL But you can re-list as soon as eBay says your case is finished.

    Good luck.
Sold a 1925 S Merc today. Well worn for $2 + $1.19. I have a few that are better, so I hope the guy needed it to fill a hole ?

You want to make the claim so others will know this Buyer is not trustworthy enough to work with.

Watch out!! Since the buyer has the feedback power and you dont
Tread lightly in this area it might just come back to bite you in the

I wrote him. I was very polite. I asked him to give me an answer so i could re-list. Some of the auctions were ten days ago. What am I supposed to do? I was worried about the feedback also. How long am I supposed to wait?

I also had another guy that won a Peace dollar eight days ago. He wrote me back, he was having some financial woes, and asked me to re-list.

Look you have proven the worth of your knowledge. You think Craiglist is better than ebay, how does it feel to be the only person in the world with that opinion?

Perhaps stick to giving buyers advice, because you get an "F" with giving sellers advice. It is obvious you are jealous of Power Sellers.:eating:

Your'e not alone, that's why there's Teletrade and Heritage.

Care to elaborate on why you would have "much experience" and then walk away? :D

I had "much experiance" and walked away because I got fed up with ebay. Period. It sucks. I hate it.

Im sure nobody blames me.Who doesn't grow up with the dream of being a power seller on Ebay??? I mean seriously thats living the lavish life . A house full of boxes waiting to be shipped, knowing the USPS workers by name, and dont forget the huge ebay bill at the beginning of the month. Now you got me all excited maybe ill sell my precious coin collection first.

And for the record I have spent alot of money on craigslist and if you take precautions such as meeting in a public place, taking a alternative route home ( maybe stop to walmart to get some milk), not telling them your name, etc etc you can find the best deals ever. some people dont even know what they have so if you are fair you can get a great deal.

I have reported your stalking of me to the mods.

Do everyone a favor and quit posting wrong, misleading info that may damage a fellow CT member. You have shown you have zero knowledge of ebay, and your advice is worthless.

I have had many positive experiences on craigslist as well. For me both ebay and craigslist are opportunities and I seldom let opportunities pass me by. :D

People are people and I don't think craigslist has a sleazier clientele than ebay. Craigs gets b8tch slapped all the time, but the truth is most of the slappers have not had any experiience on craiglist at all and are running on an assumptions. just my 2 cnts! :D

I would like to ask 3 ebay questions. I hope nobody says I'm hijacking this thread, as it seems very uneventful right now. thx

    1. What is your favorite day to buy coins or are days all the same to you?

    2. What is your favorite day and time to list coins, or are they all the same to you?

    3. Is it better to give alot of information on a coin if you have it or is it best just to post pics and give minimal information?

True... but the OP wants to get a great deal as a seller... which means you have to sell where you get the most exposure. Often the competitive spirit of buyers will drive up the price of an item above the fair market value.

craigslist is not great for exposure especially at a national level. that is why in post #135 I supplied other avenues. As a buyer Ebay is prolly one of the better ways to purchase coins but i just cant stand giving them money. i have bought one coin there in the last month and hope its the last coin I buy there.

I read on here where you have been selling since 1998 without a problem. thats awesome!:thumb: Wish everybody here could say the same. hopefuly it continues to treat you great

Most people say have listings end Sunday evening. I don't see a difference on any day of the week (Fridays and Saturday evening can be slow and never let it end on holidays).

The more info the better, and disclose any coin flaws, in your listing.

Alright you two - that will be enough. It stops here and now.

I'm new to this, but this is what I figured out...

    1. & 2. I thought there were certain days and times, but it doesn't make a difference. I used to think the middle of the night was the best time to but, but it's not. I used to think selling at peak hours was the best, but I've sold a lot of stuff for way less than what it's worth.

    3. When I sell, I always say what it is. If it's silver, I mention that, but I always tell the customer to grade for themself.

Yay!!! I wrote the guy, and he paid. He apologized for delay and said he'd leave a positive feedback. There is an ebay god.
