russian rubles from 1938

    russian rubles from 1938; UPDATED WITH PICS

    hullo!
    i have two notes, both from 1938, & both in rather poor condition. are they worth anything? one is a single ruble note, & the other is a three-ruble note.

    I think you can safely use those for toilet paper. Unless its silver or gold from the old USSR its not worth much. Traci

    Hi piile. Welcome to Coin Talk. Your Russian notes are State Treasury Notes. The prices are as follows. 1 Ruble note VG .50, VF 1.50 & Unc 5.00. The 3 Ruble note is priced at VG .50, VF 1.75. & Unc 6.00. Nice notes!

    Hello we have found an old russian gold note in a ration book its from 1938 and we just wondered if it was worth anything and how much ?

    When you say Gold note, do you mean it says in Russian on the banknote that is for 1 Golden Rouble?

    No I don't but I did some research and it said it was a gold souviet note but we couldn't find out how much it is worth so we just wondered if anyone knew because a man on ebay was selling one exactly the same for like 2,000 pounds.
