Toned or Just Dirty?

    This is from one my sets I just got . It's just been sitting in a felt book for like 35 years. I'm not so good with deciding if stuff is toned or not. What do you think?

    theres some nice edge toning but there also looks to be some dirt.

    Yeah, that's my guess. Nice toning, but dirt is definitely present.

    I think it is a very good looking coin. The edges have started to toin nicely

    with out starting a war can someone please show me where the dirt is on this coin?

    very nice toning on that. Its funny but one of the shops in my area has a whole set of those in the case and they look to be toning about the same way.

    I don't see "dirt." It looks like pretty nice toning. Can you actually see something stuck to the surface?
