Thanks Duke, sometimes they show up when you least expect it. Good luck on yours.

I have patience. My early Commem set has been going on for over a decade now but I am getting close to having all of them but then again I'll need to start to upgrade some of them then too :D

Nice score! :thumb: The margin doesn't bother me in the least on these sort of notes, maybe even helps with finding a little price break. I'm still hunting for a STL numberal myself. The (8) is especially nice looking to me too. :D

Thanks Jay! That one's not priced to badly at all at this time. I actually found all the numerals from past HA auctioned notes for my '12-pack' image posted earlier and some of those notes brought some serious bids. I'm tracking the lot you linked to, let's see what happens... I usually loose when I bid on HA. :p

Well, I watched this Heritage auction and wanted to bid just to have an example for my District Collection, however I was kind of put off by the stain on the obverse, center top edge area. But then yesterday I was watching bullion drop and instead took advantage of that opportunity rather than getting the note. Maybe when bullion comes back up the money saved in PMs will be there for me to get a better looking numeral note. BTW, the note on Heritage finished at $39 ($53 with BP) plus for me, there would be an additional tax in NY State to pay (15%, I think)... Still not a terrible expense to consider. Sorry to disappoint that I didn't bid/win the note to share here... Thanks to Jay for the recommend. :thumb:

That looks quite interesting... I will have to think about those and their special size features. Thanks again!

I think holding off and looking at the bullion was a good idea in the long run.
There will be plenty of time to get the numeral and with the stain I say:

    Good Call!!
