hope you werent being sarcastic but yeah, read a thread on it and actualy tried it myself and sure Enough it came out looking the same as your coin there. OH AND JUST SO EVERYONE ONE HERE KNOWS, I AM NOT TRYING TO SELL IT OR GAIN A PROFIT FROM IT IN ANYWAY. ALL OF THE COINS THAT I HAVE BOUGHT TO DATE WILL REMAIN WITH ME FOR ANOTHER 40+ YEARS. ITS WAS A SCIENCE EXPERIMENT.
i failed to mention the egg needed to be hot and steamy so i would imagin it would be best to just crush the egg inside the sealed bag, i had to reheat a couple of time and flip the coin in the bag or the toning will become spotty. so anywere from 30 to an hour. i dont recomend doing it but its your choice and it was pretty fun to watch.
A commercial coin dip. Just google it, there are many. You'll want to be careful though, and parctice on some pocket change first. Dips are acid and 1 second too long in the dip and you ruin the coin.
Well not really, that's more about coin cleaning than dipping from what I read. And even though you will find several references saying to use cotton swabs on the coins, it's not really a very good idea. The cotton swabs can hairline the coins. Coin dipping is just that - dipping the coin into the liquid for complete immersion. It's not wiping it on with this or that.
