Well, I just found out that PCGS grades Disney Dollars! So i decided to Get my wife and daughter in on the action, Since there always asking Me what those numbers mean on top of the TPG label, I have already Bid on several and will post them as there received! Is there anybody here collecting them??
I really think my daughter will get in to it shes 9 my wife maybe......LOL It,s a great way to start her out in collecting
I've seen a few of these in shops in this area. They're interesting but always way to expensive. I guess they're sold for "face value" at the parks.
There still fairly cheap to collect, Compared to everything else graded Out there and after all its magic kingdom money and the kids love that
I was certainly mistaken when I heard "Disney Dollar" - what I found in my pile of "stuff" was a token/medal from the bicentenial celebration at Disney world that I think I bought at the FL park in 1975 - but it is high relief and kinda nice... But certainly not a dollar... LOL - about 1 7/16" in diameter See pix ...
I've got some somewhere in my mess. Got them awhile back when I took the family to Disneyland. Do they still sell them at the Park?
To tell you the truth iam not sure? Here,s the link to the complete Sets http://www.pcgscurrency.com/SETREGISTRY/Composite.aspx?c=1910 1987-2009
