Was this a serious response or just tongue in cheek:D?

One of the good c-1 fakes. Now you pointed them out I’m starting to recognize them. Thanks Jack

Listing an item and not knowing if it’s
real or not, or did he ? that’s the million
dollar question ? but before I list it I make sure that it is real, regardless
if you sell one thing a month or thousands, doesn’t matter, your
    responsible for the listing regardless.

Was being serious, I don’t know the nature of your conversation if it was
friendly or what his rating is and has
he had any issues before ?

If he has you want to protect other
buyers, I think that was the premise
    of your post.

The "premise" of my post is this is a damn good counterfeit and how many would have recognized it for that? I would definitely want to protect other buyers which is why I take the time to post here and other coin venues in order to try to get the word out, as well as try to discuss issues with sellers of items like this constructively.

I appreciate how you would have done your due diligence and vetted this one prior to listing it if you owned it- you are apparently ahead of the curve of most...

I haven't read though all the "answers" yet but I would say "fake" and as I saw mention of the "darkside" collection I notice what seems to be a familiar die chip above the fraction..

Bottom line you need to be very familiar
with what you sell, that’s all I am saying.

I gave you a "like" for this reasonable response. It is too bad you posted it after posting your other two :bucktooth: replies.

Just to be sure you understand the discussion, Jack posted a fake on Ebay. Please note that Jack discovered these particular counterfeits after they had been bought and sold by professional numismatists. Additionally, they were slabbed by top tier TPGS's. There is no way in heck that any professional numismatist looking over a common coin as this or a TPGS would have caught it in the few seconds it took to grade it UNTIL...some bright guy who knows the series looked at a similar specimen and saw something "unusual" that clicked in their memory that they had seen before. On this coin, the lump on the "A" might have stirred that thought. Longtime Pprofessionals can even remember "bagmark depressions" that set off more curiosity and lead to the descovery of a "new" deceptive fake.

Jack has published this one and I'll guarantee that whomever made it has produced similar counterfeits without the diagnostics Jack published.

THANKS :angelic: JACK YOUNG & the :blackalien: Darksider's! for helping to keep us safer from the counterfeiters'.

Seems like a decent seller to me. Last time I alerted a supposed good guy well known dealer expert he told me to F off, he was trying to make a few bucks.
