Hi, I came across this 1973-D lincoln and it is in great condition. Just wonder if there is any doubling on the B in Liberty, and on the word "one" on the reverse. The D looks questionable to me also. The color on the pics is dark as the coin looks like a new coin, much brighter. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated, thank you! http://i370.photobucket.com/albums/oo142/debwests/1973reverse.jpg http://i370.photobucket.com/albums/oo142/debwests/1973obverse1.jpg
...you have what appears to be machine/shelf doubling. quite common on many coins. here is a site that explains the difference. hth http://www.coingalaxy.com/coininfo/doubling.html
Thank you for the information, I like that site that showed the difference which really helps. Again thanks so much : )
