Sorry, but another dumb query. How does one tell the difference between the silver and the clad reverse ? I found another 1/2 dozen rolls in my Mom's stash labeled 1964, that I need to go through. Thanks.
I don't think there are clad 64 washington (quarters?), but you can look at the edge. If they are clad, you will see the copper.
The 5th edition of the Cherrypickers' guide lists a type C reverse intended for minting in 1965. I don't have volume II, but the complete identification list is in volume I also. I saw it there, and I cannot tell the difference in appearance. But there must some PUPs ?
