My latest halves hunt was pretty boring. The only noteworthy find was a 1995 Proof and a possible 1972-D No FG. Opinions please on the possible no FG. There are remnants of the two letters but it is far from visible with the naked eye.

That means it can't be seen at all. But it's there.

I see it also. Could be a combo of over polished & a weak strike. Notice the orange peel effect that indicates a worn die.

So this morning I get a call from my local credit union one of the tellers said a person came in with a lot of IKE dollars and some Halves. Went over bought $50.00 in IKES I like to spend them and $50. in Halves. I found $34.00 in Clad and 2 silver Halves JFK. Later on went back and bought $150.00 in Halves. So my total is 1dollar in silver, $105 in Clad and they told me I can come back and get more on Saturday. All well and good now I have to find a dealer to sell them and give the 3 tellers a percentage of the take. Stay tune for more information tomorrow.

OK so today , Saturday I went back to my Credit Union I transfered 9 regular rolls for 9 unsearched rolls of Halves, Came up with almost 5 roll of Clads and 1 1914 large size English penny. Not too bad I will go back and trade more rolls for rolls. Never got to a coin dealer to sell the clads and one dollar in silver, another day.
