Oh my! Now that is a coin I would like to see in hand. I wasn't aware that SBA's could even look that good. Perhaps the most eye appealing SBA in existence and I am not kidding!

Don't send it to PCGS. I doubt very highly if they will deem that coin market acceptable. My comment about seeing the coin in hand was to determine it's market acceptability. The color is fantastic and the eye appeal incredible. Even if it is AT, it is still a beautiful coin.

Well if PCGS secure plus scanner works right,it would be graded instantly.

Are you claiming that it once resided in a PCGS holder but has been cracked out. If that is the case, I sincerely hope that you were not the one foolish enough to crack out an SBA with that color.

No.I know its original, and would pass any tests.pcgs claims that their secure plus can detect AT,so If I spent the money, there is no reason it shouldnt pass, and it would deserve a + I think.

Market acceptable or not.If the scanner can detect, this will pass, problem free

I think one of us is mistaken on Secure plus..
I was of the understanding that the only reason a coin would be able to be noted as AT was if the coin WAS secure pluss'd once. And then cracked out, altered, and resubmitted. Then the computer would recognize the coin from the first submission and they would know it had been altered.
There is no was a computer can tell if a coin is AT'd.

That is true,I was under the assumption, that it could detect AT from its "superior" computer technology advancements. But I did assume. So chances are I am wrong. So I will not be sending it in for grading.Im not wasting money, unless I get a guarantee it goes in a holder. If I get that,I submit.

Oh it will definitely holder. The holder just might say GENUINE on it, that's all.

its genuinely 100% natural,so unless it gets a grade, its not going in a slab.i was willing to pay 65$ if they were willing to "test" it somehow.

This coins obverse is a deep purple, as deep as purple can be, covering 100% of the obverse, while the reverse is just 100% blasty white. I sent it to PCGS for crossover, somewhat concerned as the crackdown on AT had begun. It crossed at PCGS, and I was pretty happy to see it in PCGS plastic. But, now I find myself thinking it would look GREAT in a new NGC pronged slab. The prints are on the old NGC slab...the coin is totally void of distracting marks and is close to a 65.

Obviously, the color is tweaked in the photo of it in it's PCGS holder (not to mention a tad out of focus.... I can't take a coin pic to save my life, though I really wish I could...this coin deserves a photo showing it's true beauty). Thats the only way I can get even close to the coins real, true color, and it still doesn't come close to showing how deep the purple is, nor does it show the absolute booming luster from under the toning, as well as the blazing white luster on the reverse.

I apologize for my lousy images, but it's the only contribution I can add to this thread.

You could always send it in PCGS's Quarterly Special. Right now they are accepting any coin. The only charge is return shipping. You just need a member to send it in for you. The limit is one coin per member, but there are many members that don't use it. This special is good until July 30.
