There any other good coin forums that people visit? This one seems great. Most everyone is very helpful and polite. There's bad apples everywhere but not many trouble makers it seems like here.
PCGS and NGC have terrific forums, too. Contrary to the belief that you need not go elsewhere, it can be vitally important to keep more than one coin website vibrant and active.
I want to make it very clear that I do not follow Tom around to the various sites, but I do frequent them. Chris
There's another forum that I participate in, that isn't PCGS or NGC. That said, I find this one the most enjoyable.
I can clearly headed type this, even with an open mind, and experience behind me.This IS the BEST coin forum,I think you will EVER visit & chat on. I would never ever recommend any other forum,to anyone, not even an enemy.that how good this forum is. I dont know the owner,or if there is a moderator, and I dont know how to contact either, and that is the best experience.everyone here is as respectful as the come.
I've seen others but this one seems to be the best. If you need more excitement join a gun forum. Gun collecting can be fun too.
I am with the ranks that say that this is the best forum. Always the first one I recommend to fellow collectors. Here is a list of other forums that are actively busy: http://forums.collectors.com/ http://www.coppercoins.com/forum/ http://www.canadiancoin.com/ http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=cfrm Theres one more great one but I'm not allowed to link to it, :desk:hya:
I would concur, definitely. There are a few characters in here that I've seen in the other forum too.
There is one other that I occasionally visit not affiliated with a TPG, and I won't mention the name, which is more like a "good ole boy" redneck club whose motto should be, If'n ya ain't fer us, yer agin us. Chris
Sounds like the same one that I'm thinking of... The other one I'm thinking of has a mod that absolutely bashed and trashed a newbie in every which way, for no other reason it seemed except that that the newbie is a little "challenged" upstairs. That's about the time that I stopped going in there all the time.
Probably not, but I'm not very well liked because I've often disagreed openly with the membership. The mods are all very knowledgeable, but the rank-and-file are more intent on scoring brownie points, and most of them can't comprehend anything greater than two syllables. Chris
I forgot to mention, the guy was having trouble taking photographs of his coins, and was asking for advice. In his OP, he stated that he was legally blind.
