2 minutes of SS research and I don’t know what to do

That’s nice of you but I’ve gotten a new name from the Secret Santa Sorter. It’s all about the giving and I wanted to give stuff to someone worthy and appreciative.

This is a sad thread. I don't play Secret Santa because I'm lousy at picking gifts. Also I'm one of those that read a whole lot more than I post. I tend to press "Like" more often than to comment. I certainly don't post much. Way more smarter people on here than me. A lot of my posts probably have been in the contest threads. Mostly because those seem to be active this time of year and the conversation is usually lite and cheerful. Christmas is about bringing joy to others and the gift does not need to be expensive. It's the thought that counts. I received an old worn wheat penny the other day and it made my day.

Modern 8 may be correct about the giftee and I can understand his viewpoint, but I wouldn't just condemn someone because they don't have a lot of posts. I am happy that Modern 8 received a new giftee and will continue participation in something he has enjoyed over the years. I wish him a very merry Christmas.

Hopefully the old giftee remains in SS and receives something that will spark his interest in the forum. If the administrator of the SS drops the original giftee, then send me their information, I'll send them something. I'd be more than happy to pass a little joy to someone this year.

 

Sorry for the rant above. Just one of those days.
