Hey guys i won these 2 Morgan Dollars last night at my County Auction for 22.50 each, can u guys tell me if you think the 1886 Morgan Dollar would grade a MS-65. Here is the link to my photobucket album and the 1886 is in there so u can see what u think.http://s886.photobucket.com/albums/...ns10/?action=view&current=jamescoins003-1.jpg Let me add that it is the one in the plastic capsule with the black ring around it.

I think you got a deal on them all, here is my opinion on each.Still you did really good overall.

1890 ms62/63 but has some hairlines on rev.from a slight wipe possibly a no grade
    1886 ms63/64 borderline

    Good buys!!

Thanks guys i know your busy so thanks for responding, i thought that 86 morgan had a really good shot at ms-65, i have bought all my morgans of ebay except for the 1886 and 1890, i also have several graded ones by ngs and pcgs that i havn't uploaded to photobucket yet, but anyways thanks for giving me your opinions on these.

The best way to tell is by luster & contact marks. The 86 has luster, but not thick enough.and it has what I believe just too many contact marks to justify a 65.still a great buy

The 1890 is harshly cleaned while the 1886 looks no better than MS63.
