There's something wrong with this.

    Hello, recently I saw this 1967 SMS Quarter and I noticed something was wrong. My conclusion was that it's a counterfeit or PCGS made a mistake. See if you can spot it! SMS.jpg

    PCGS wouldn't label an SMS with an MS grade.

    Yes, label errors do happen.

    There's nothing wrong with this. This PCGS slab is from around the early 2000s back when they graded SMS coins as MS. PCGS didn't make the switch from MS to SP until around 10 years ago.
