    I had always thought the Gobrecht dollars were absolutely stunning. Lady Liberty in an empty field is just beautiful to me..... So what are you guys saying here? If I provide Carr with a worn out half he will restrike it as a Gobrecht fantasy piece?

    He is done with the Gobrecht Dollars with 54 made. The obverse die failed on the later strikes, it warped under pressure.

    BTW Randy, a "half" wouldn't have cut it. These are Seated DOLLAR overstrikes.

    That raises the bar quite a bit. If he was doing half dollars, I would have been in.
