I was digging around in one of my old currency shoe boxes (and yes we All have them) And found some nice Vietnam common notes that were Used during war time by the South Vietnamese civilians, I will also include What the American soldiers were using at the time in Mpc The first Civilian note is from 1966 in 200 Dong The Mpc from that year would be the Series 641 Issued 8/31/65 and withdrawn 10/21/68 On the second one will be from 1970 in 500 Dong The Mpc from that year would be the Series 681 Issued 8/11/69 and withdrawn 10/7/70 Enjoy :smile

Very nice. This is the first time I've really looked at VN notes. The sailor and eagle on the MPC are very cool. You must have an enormous collection.

I would check e-bay, Series 641 is still fairly cheap in most denominations In VF grade, You could probably build a "Raw" set for next to nothing!! Here,s a bonus pick Series 641 $5 In PCGS 66PPQ very difficult in this Grade!!
