Dime Blank Planchet

I haven’t a clue where or whenI got this but I’ve had it at least 25 years. That is based on the other items that were in the same box. I have no recollection of it at all. I see blank cent planchets all the time but not dimes.

This is considered the obverse but I can’t tell for sure. Lol

There is no Obverse or Reverse on Blanks.
Only when it is struck the sides are determined.

If it is a raised rim blank that was passed through the upsetting mill both sides will looks the same.

I found a Clad one CRH.

 

I just got a silver one at a show for $8. Weighs right.

 

I actually have one of those. Being a dime collector I found a dealer who sold the planchets as novelties at a show and I had to buy one.

I am gonna have to find it. Haven't seen it in years. Might have to search my accumulated dimes think I threw it in a roll somewhere.
