Wow, there are some great coins in this thread. I of course like the Type 1 Buffalo but that Trade Dollar is awesome. Also like the Franklins from Physics Fan and Lehigh's Jeffersons. And so many others.

36 Proof Buffalo -- thought I'd try to post something without toning that is still eye candy.

Did someone say Lehigh's Jeffersons. How about 12 of them all at the same time.

Did I ever tell you how much I love that picture? You've cost me at least 20 minutes of my life now. LOL

Thanks for the compliment. For that, you deserve a closeup of my newest upgrade to the set. The boys over on the NGC forum loved this coin.

The lineup from 1944 is really as strong as you can get. The 44-D is an appalachian in an old holder with a T designation. If resubmitted it would get both the star and 5FS.

Lehigh, seeing them all lined up, it's only polite to choose a favorite. I am saying the 42-S. Great obverse with a contrasting, beautiful reverse. Like two for price of one.

Man this thread is awesome. Thanks everyone for posting. Watching a hockey game and enjoying the great coins on this thread.

The 42-s is the Rodney Dangerfield of the collection. By far the cleanest obverse in the entire set and the most incredible iridescent toning I have ever seen on a Jefferson Nickel and I have seen a lot of them. I still can't believe that NGC did not give this coin a star.

I may resubmit the coin one day when my upgrade search comes to an end. Right now I am looking for an upgrade for the 1943/2-P and the 1942-P.

I feel compelled to post something other than Jefferson Nickels in this thread. How about a classic commemorative!

Yeah, you are right. We need some white eye candy in this thread. I think I got one around here somewhere.

I agree, not all candy is colorful.

Some candy is dipped and blast white:

Some candy is dripping with luster and has some color:

While other candy is coated with lots of color:

Seems this thread has been missing the gold flavored candy though, so here's a few First Ladies to brighten things up:

No, what it is really missing is some colorful gold.
