1975 D over S penny??

    No, it is just a damaged D mint mark. As mentioned in the earlier posts, the S mint mark was only used for proof coins and the D was used for general circulation which is what yours is. Any appearance to an S in just coincidental. Jim

    If you read through this thread, you'll see that all of the other coins have damaged mint marks that make them look like an S/D, but they are not.

    You can post Some cropped, focused pics but it is almost a certainty that you have a damaged coin
