I have this American silver dollar and started looking at the center of the eagle and it has almost like a nipple or it’s unfinished I also don’t know what’s going on with the color I think it’s because of the weather. I personally think it’s a error and can be worth money. And to top it off I have the collection from 1986 - 1995 and some of these have sort of the same things but they’re fully silvered. Anyone have any info ???
Nope, it is not an error. And no, it is not worth any money (really, it detracts from the appeal and value of the coin). What you have is a spot of some contaminant, which is causing corrosion on the coin.
