Nice looking coins. Great additions to your type set.

I should have time to photo the new 1924 tomorrow if post-Ian cleanup, dental appointments and honey-dos give me a chance.

Got this coin shot. Here's the closeups of the die crack in the eagle's left wing and the one across the lower part of the eagle's breast. I find it interesting that the one on the wing is mostly across the feathers which is the deep part of the die with only a tail piece into the field. On the breast, the die crack is wholly in the deep part of the die.

@lehigh and @micbraun, I guess I made my mistake by stating my lack of enthusiasm for toned SLQs as an absolute. I should have said; "Almost always, I don't like the way SLQs tone." That would have left some wiggle room for the occasional nice-looking one like @lehigh posted. And, of course, I should have further defined my comment by stating that I was only referring to MS coins because most circulated SLQs have toned out to a nice overall silver-gray color.

But, it always adds some fun to a post to give people something to jump on, so glad to have obliged.

Note that I am not offended or upset, welcome your comments, and maintain a smile while I write this.

You should have written "I never liked the price tag of attractively toned SLQs" and I would have given you the +1.

That is also true. But it's difficult to include every qualification and caveat into what would be a sub-topic of my posting. The coin you posted is gorgeous, it's just that my experience of the SLQ market is that there are very few that look like that one. Feel free to have the last word.
