Not a hard date to come by, but finding a "pretty" one can be tough.. Previously I had picked up an 1849 NGC "Genuine Details" looking a solid vf maybe xf for a stupid 20 bid (I'm still smiling thinking about it lol) but as I've not been able to bring myself to crack it out to put it in a album and the 1 empty spot on that page has been bugging me so... I bid on a good looking but slightly blurry pics (Hush yo mouth i've had damn good luck with blurry pics lol) So here she is for 20 even... 1849... (updated pics once she arrives ) and I'll add in the slabbed one for comp...
yup yup for 20 I'm very happy a lil beaten on but for the price range quite acceptable The 43 arrived today to but she's taking a bath right now
probably my "best" 20 pickup (grade wise anyway) is a 56 I grabbed in a 2x2 with bad pics... In that price range I've taken quite a few risks on bad 2x2 pics that have paid off well
It seems like the common date large cents are getting tough to come by at a decent price. I still need one common date for my large cent set, and unfortunately 8 not so common ones, three of which are downright painfully expensive!
