MN Coin Show Pickups. Including photos :)

    I really havent had much time to put together the photos from the MN coin shows this past weekend.Overall I ended up at 2 shows and found a few pieces well worth it in my eyes.Just wanted 2 share

    1978-D NO FG Kennedy
    I havent run across any of this year.Anybody know any pop's on it?

    That RPD is cool.

    Unfortunately, from your picture, that Kennedy does not look like a true no initials coin. It appears to be a strikethrough of some sort, probably grease. A true no initials coin is missing the FG due to a worn and polished die. A strike through grease is a very common error, and often results in a reduction of value due to negative eye appeal. If you could get us closeups with better lighting of the area, we can tell you with more certainty what you actually have.

    I have not run across this variety yet, raw or slabbed, not that it does not exist, just saying.

    Question: Did the dealer at the show sell it to you as a "No FG" variety?
