Two different Yunnan halft dollar China coin

    In the picture you can see that the coin on the left have bigger 3 and 6 and the number is close to the English alphabet. Whereas the coin on the right 3 and 6 is smaller and they are not close to English alphabet. Is it the possible that there is two type of these coins. Or one out of these two coins are counterfeit. If both of these coin are genius which one is rear and more expensive. Thank you[​IMG]

    The one on the left matches coins I have seen in NGC holders.

    I am assuming those are dated 1909, as you do not show the obverse. In any case, you have two varieties there. Notice the left dragon. The fire in its mouth shows distinctly seven flames. On the right dragon, you have what appears to be nine flames in the fire. These are Y#259 and Y#259.1, respectively. The second coin (right side) goes for about a 20% premium above the normal strike (left one).

    I do not believe the dollar has a die variation for that year.
