I most certainly agree, I started this thread to primarily stimulate discussion, plus my actual curiosity to see examples of some of the prettiest world currency with full figured women on the coins, as opposed to just a face or bust.

I own quite a few of those coins, some of my favourite early 20th century Italians.

Mrs. Cleever, please cover Beaver's eyes whilst I post this image:

The best coins are full figured where it counts. Since the Beav isn't wearing his glasses again, maybe I can get away with posting this image.

Here's one that I don't think has been posted before, has a full bodied man and woman and one really sweet eagle:

as an "full bodied woman", I gotta say great thread!

although being a disembodied floating head WOULD be interesting for a day or two.

I paged thru the thread, didn't see this coin. It holds the spot for its country in my world type set.

Once again - lets leave those types of coins off CT as much as possible since this is a family friendly forum

And, if anybody cares, the other side.

Interestingly, in 1996 Spain issued two Goya silver coins (250th anniversary of Goya's birth): a 2000 pesetas coin, diameter 33 mm, with the Maja Vestida ... and a 10,000 ptas piece, diameter 73 mm (!), showing the Maja Desnuda

Here's the corrected link for Maja Desnuda... it just had a few extra characters on the end.
