This e-bay seller seems to be on the high side!! Iam not sure on
The value of this one it could be right but $100,000.00 is that
Realistic?? This guy is also selling Mpc and i can tell you there
He,s way over priced!! And he likes to use fancy numbers like
8,888 3,333 iam not sure if that will help LOL :)

I have perused this seller's inventory before, and purchased 1 item from him before. When I first discovered this seller, my jaw dropped when I saw the breadth of his inventory.

Per Whitman's Encyclopedia of U.S. Paper Money, this specimen, Fr-41a (Series 1) / W-301, had an estimated run of 10,000. As of printing (2009), it lists the recorded population at 6; his of which, is Serial Number 1.

It also appears that the seller has provenance for this specimen.

The only provided pricing for an Fr-41a @ VG-8 is $460, but that is for a W-304 (Series 3 to 88), which had an estimated run of 8,511,160, and a 2009 recorded population of 225 to 275.

I've bought three notes from this person, they were low end not even totaling $40.00 and they treated me as if I just bought the million dollar note, soo great seller

Friendly FYI... it's listed for only a cool million... not 100 million.

That note was for sale at the same price for along time now. I saw it in person at a big show...it's cool to see the first 2...
As for the dealer he's always been good to me.

Rusty he only has 3 mpc's and they are all real auctions so how can they go way overpriced as it seems to be the same ones every week or so. From Unc packs I'd assume?

Thats Jess Lipka. The first 2 is a cool note but not worth 1 mil. I believe it is about marketing. A high dollar item draws attention and he uses it bring in buyers. Everyone checks out his stuff. He is a genius and he owns the finest national banknote collection ever amassed.

It is a marketing gimmick. He bought it at an auction in 2008 (if I remember correctly) for something like $28,0000.00. I brought this up when I first joined the Collectors Universe discussion board (which the seller is a member of) and he pretty much confirmed that it is marketing.

It gets people to do what most of the posters have done -- look at his other inventory.

That strategy definitely worked for me. I stopped in my tracks like a deer in headlights and browsed around.

    Hello everyone,

Maybe his apostrophe key is still sleeping, and won't get up?

This guy has been trying to sell this note for years on ebay and I had emailed him or her through ebay and mentioned they should try and sell it through Herritage Auctions in order to engage the high end collectors and where he'd get the proper marketing for such a rare note and he did I believe it was at the Sept 2008 Long Beach show It rings a bell as I had a rare note in this auction as well item 13196. His expectations are to high and it didn't sell there either.

I think you may be missing the point. He's using this note to drum up interest in his portfolio, just like Porschemat (or however that's spelled) does. This thread is a great example of the value of his marketing:
    - Guy 1 - "wow, look at this note, what an exorbitant price!"
    - Guy 2 - "Sure, but look at all the neat notes he has!"
    - Guy 3 - "I've bought some great stuff from him before"

Etc. You can't buy that kind of advertising. Well, actually you can, and for eBay's listing price on this one expensive note, I suspect it's well worth keeping it in his inventory and re-listing it over and over.

This add definitley pulls you in!

Unfortunatley when you view his items you realize his prices are
Unrealistic, Especially his buy it nows, He has a Mpc Series 661
$10 note for $3,333.33 all i can say is good luck!! I bought a 67PPQ
    For $2,300, $1,333.33 More for a grade less :(

He is looking for offers. If you know what these are worth all you can do is make an offer. He is pretty fair about stuff. I think he wants to find retail buyers not wholesalers or people who buy only in big auctions. He knows what hes is doing that is for dam sure. With a 20 million dollar collection he has to.
