Doh! Thanks. My brain is tired tonight.

They look a bit surreal to me, beyond toning.

Jitters of deja vu happening, reminds me of another ebay seller, same black background with silverish lettering in the left bottom corner...

They look both AT and photoshopped to me. Anytime you see a coin on an empty background, the photo has been edited via software. Just about everyone who knows how to crop & cut coin images to an empty background also knows how to make basic image adjustments to color and saturation. I have no problem with the use of these photo editing tools as I use them myself. However, I use them to make the coin look like it looks in hand, not just to make the coin look better. Over-saturating coin photos is a very common trick used in the coin business and very easy to spot once you have enough experience to know what each series typically looks like with toning.

I will admit that I don't collect either series, but I have never seen those color progressions on those series before. That leads me to believe they are probably AT and have definitely been edited. FWIW, he may have over-saturated the photos slightly, but it is definitely not egregious.

PS. I can't prove the coins are AT. It is my opinion that they are questionably toned and are not market acceptable and both PCGS and NGC would most likely details/genuine grade the coins for artificial toning.

That was the logic I was thinking. You articulated it well.

All I can say is that the coins I got were dead on for color and they both had a black background. They pit my pictures to shame.

I could not ask for truer pictures.
