Very nice man, but I could never own a sweet set like that. My OCD would raise my anxiety through the roof just laying in bed thinking about how some of the coins are at an angle. :nailbiting:

I’ll fix them one of these days. Lol. For now, they can keep eye contact with one another.

And a much better strike than average. Especially the reverse. I like it a lot

This is what happens when you troll eBay for too many hours... Won the first coin on auction for 1 cent. I paid a grand total of $5, but technically paid face value for this. Seems to have some decent luster, probably a mid MS red brown coin, so I'm happy!

Second coin is also a new one from tonight, I barely even looked at the coin before buying it, great price and seems like some really good luster and of course that woodgrain toning, my favorite! I would estimate a higher MS red brown on this one

And third is also from tonight, paid around $10 for a very nice low MS coin, would probably grade red brown because I don't know how strong that luster is, but for 10 bucks I'm very happy.

Overall a win, and the lesson here: do research to get good deals!

    C25c 1893 Isabella Quarter MS64 PCGS CAC Trueview 35815167.jpg
I've always wanted a nice (and nicely toned) Isabella quarter, but I never could find one I liked. Until this one walked by. Prettiest one I've ever seen, completely original album toning. MS64 PCGS, CAC. This has me thinking about pursuing a complete toned 50-piece Registry Type Set.

    Enjoy!

    Kind regards,

    George

Long overdue to have this trio in my collection. Arrived Saturday. They are nice steel cents; the scratches are on the holders.

morgan11.JPG Morgan22.JPG 1893S Morgan Dollar graded AG/About Good. Mintage 100,000. Uncleaned and original surface. Stains appear darker in image than to the eye; obverse scratches across Liberty's cheek are on the surface of the holder. Nice even honest wear across both surfaces. Condition is pretty consistent with the rest of my collected Morgan Dollar keys and Carson City mints so it will fit VERY WELL to the eye with it's companions. This week's purchase of a 1963D Lincoln Cent, MS66 RD. I started with 1932 and have built a set of MS66 RD Lincoln Cents through to 1968. I still need the elusive 1951-1954 Philadelphia issues, and the 1968 from San Francisco to complete the series 1932-1968.
