We seem to have threads for every other day of the week except Monday's. I thought I would start one for Monday's.

    Mundane Monday
Post up the coin, medal, or token that you bought, but for one reason or another, really wished you hadn't . . . . .

    I'll start.

Poor seller photos, thought it might be an interesting Gasparro piece, or at least silver . . . . .

It was neither, just an unmarked copy I believe.

    A definite copy.

The poor definition of the details is a give away.

So, in honor of Monday, post YOUR coins that came with REGRETS . . . . . (that's for errybody, not just The Other Frank)

What's interesting about the piece above is that it appears to be die struck, not cast or some other copy method. Those "scratches" on the obverse are raised die polish lines.

It weighs in at 6.8g, measures 25.6mm, and for all intents and purposes, feels like aluminum.

Well, when I start to collect I bought a 1889 CC Morgan Dollar, but when I get her in my hand, I said "what a f..." Fake.
    Weigh only 17.3gr
